STructure

  1. ARRIVE: Begin with meditation and gentle movement, inviting the body to soften and the mind and nervous system to settle.

  2. ROOT: Creating safety through grounding and deep connection to the body. Arriving in the present moment.

  3. RELEASE & STABILIZE: Releasing tension patterns and stagnation in the body. Tuning into the pelvic floor and its ability to dynamically contract and release.

  4. AWAKEN: Awakening sensation and feminine energy through circular and sensual movement. ‍Exploring the sensation of movement flowing through the body.

  5. OPENING: Continuously moving upward through the energy channels (root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye, and crown). Tapping into pelvis and heart connection. Opening up the direct line from the pelvis to the throat.

  6. BUILDING: Expanding physicality and exploring larger movement.

  7. EXPLORATION OF ELEMENTS: Integrating the use of elements (air, earth, fire, and water) into movement.

  8. PLAY: Creating landscapes through guided storyline. Immersing ourselves in the experience through sensation. Connecting ourselves back to nature and the divine wisdom that exists.

What does it feel like to fully embody the elements?

  9. CONNECTION: Recognition of connection and community within the space.

  10. CLOSING: Coming together in celebration. Honoring the divine wisdom your body holds. Honoring the space shared.

OUR WHY

We believe movement is essential and aim to create space for an expansive, intuitive, and embodied experience. We are interested in the felt experience of movement; the sensation, pleasure, freedom, and connection that can arise when we slow down enough to truly listen to our innate wisdom. We explore movement that is more circular, fluid, intuitive, and connected to feminine energy. Movement that allows for both strength and softness. Stillness and expression. Structure and freedom. We also draw inspiration from the elements and the natural world, using movement as a way to reconnect with the earth, its rhythms, and our own innate rhythms.

We believe women deserve spaces where they can safely and openly explore their relationship with their bodies, pleasure, creativity, and sensuality. Our practice is built around sensation and we believe in the importance of exploring the range of our own sensuality.  Movement is deeply connected to the nervous system. Learning to slow down, regulate, and become more attuned to our bodies can transform the way we experience ourselves and the world around us.

In a culture that often teaches women to push, perform, and override their truth, we want to offer another way. We push against the shame that has been placed on women’s sensuality and sexuality. We create a space where we encourage women to take up space, recognize their power, and remember the true essence of their being.

Our work is an invitation. We use movement as a way to awaken sensation, cultivate energy, access creativity, and reconnect with the parts of ourselves that want to be expressed.
